You're fired!

Last night, I had a dream regarding my job.

My colleagues and I were gathering at a pantry and there was some catering which I thought ooh we may celebrate 🍾 something.

My boss (it was one of my old bosses back in reality) said "I would like to thank Ms. Dreamer for hard working and dedication blah blah "..and he said "Unfortunately, today it's her last working day at our company".

And I was so shocked 😳😱😲

My colleagues came towards me to say they were sorry that I had to go and they didn't know about this before.

I wanted to tell them that l'm sorry too. I also didn't know this. 😭😭

While my colleagues started paying attention to the catering, I went to a corner to talk to my boss asking what I did wrong.. I asked him if it's because of the deal we lost but I've never told anyone our cost.

Then, he said he had to let me go because the country manager needs to fill more local headcounts blah blah..turned out it became a political reason 🙄 😔 (I was an expat in the company)

Later, I was thinking about the current job interview I had with home country (this is happening in waking life) and think maybe I should take it 😅😅

Anyway, my head was blocked and I didn't know what to discuss more with my manager to alleviate my situation. I was thinking what if I sue the company? But then, I doubt that there is a law in the country I'm living to support the expat and this is not USA.

Soon after, I thought about my place which I just renewed the contract and I have to say to all the people I know here.. 😭

I feel sad 😔 and I strangely didn't wake up...I felt like it's much later that I woke up and I thought that it was real until I realised I was still in bed 😅 🙃
